Nick Foles is probably going to be a free agent this offseason. The Eagles would need to franchise tag or transition tag on him in order to keep him on the roster. With Carson Wentz still as their starter, paring ways with Foles is probably their only option. His would make him a free agent. Foles was the Super Bowl MVP in the Eagles only Super Bowl win ever in 2017. The three teams that Foles could land on are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins.

Now the Jaguars need to move on from Blake Bortles if they want to win anything in the future. Now the Jags are not in good shape when it comes to cap room. They are currently negative $4.3 million. They could cut some players and make it work though. Foles would be a good fit and if they draft a rookie quarterback in the draft, he could sit behind Foles and learn for a year. The Dolphins are interesting. They probably won’t trade for Foles because they will draft a quarterback and have him sit behind Tannehill for a year. Their cap space is ok at around $12 million. The Redskins are going to need a QB next year because of the gruesome leg injury that their starting QB Alex Smith suffered. They have about $20 million in cap space, so they could make a run for Foles for the 2019 season. All three of these teams have a chance or a need to get Foles.
